“Open with Notepad” Add this Option on All File’s Right click Menu !


The default technique of gap unknown files forces you to travel through an inventory of well-known applications and is usually a pain to touch upon. That’s why i favor to own a context menu choice for “Open with Notepad” so I will quickly open up files while not having to travel through lots of hassle.

note that you simply will use this same technique to substitute the other application that you’d like by adjusting the trail within the registry to purpose to the various editor.

Default step of opening a unknown file type- then you forces to go through your known application and its very problem to open it with Notepad. For that I like add a option in context menu “Open with Notepad” for that I can quickly open up files without having any problem.
This hack is very easy and very very simple. Just follow step and done.

Start > Run > Regedit.exe > HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell

Right-click on shell >  create a new key > rename it Open with Notepad > Create a new key in that one renamed command > Open Default > change value value notepad.exe %1
Close the registry editor and restart the system. And see the change.
