Reliance Jio gets unified licence for 4G services

Reliance commerce' telecom arm Reliance Jio Infocomm has won a unified telecom licence that will endow it to offer voice telephony and high pace facts and figures services over the country.

The Department of Telecommunications yesterday accepted allocate of unified permit to Reliance Jio, the only telecom operator to own nationwise fourth generation spectrum or wireless waves, sources said.

The unified licence will endow the firm to offer both voice and high-speed facts and figures services to subscribers across all the 22 telecom circles in the homeland.
